I am a self confessed book worm and proud mum to three little book worms. I am passionate about reading and in particular getting children reading and enjoying books. With three boys in tow , life is hectic so when I get a minute’s peace I like to escape with a book, which can be anything from a picture book to a novel. Many of my fondest memories of growing up involve books or the games developed out of the stories I read. I love talking to my students about books and hearing the excitement and passion that they feel about the  books they have read.  My favourite books of all time are Dogger by the very brilliant Shirley Hughes, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis and The Count of Monte Christo by Alexandre Dumas.

Between me, my children and my students we read a lot of books. A LOT! So I decided to create this space for us to share all the bookish things that go on at school as well as for us to blog about the books we have been reading. If you would like us to review your books here then do contact me.  We promise not to include any spoilers!

We hope you enjoy the site.
