The Theatre of Widdershins comes back to Sancton Wood School

 

Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2009After the roaring success of last year’s Theatre of Widdershins show, the children pestered and pestered me to invite them back again.

“We can’t wait to see more amazing puppets from the Theatre of Widdershins”

  “PLEASE Mrs Janes: last year’s show was so amazing.”

“Seeing how the set works was so clever.”

 

 

 

So, I am very pleased to announce that on Friday 3rd March, the wonderful Theatre of Widdershins return to Sancton Wood with their brand new production Rapunzel and the Tower of Doom! The children are truly delighted and really looking forward to seeing the new show.

All children from  Reception to Year 9 will get to so the show.

For those of you that are new to the school awiddershinsnd have not heard of The Theatre of Widdershins you should check it out here.  this truly magical puppet theatre is the
creation of Andy Lawrence who, as well as being a parent of an ex-student, is an absolute genius in creating wonderful puppets and ingenious sets.  Sancton Wood have hosted a number of his shows and they have all been loved by young and old alike.  We are in for such a treat with the new show.
